Local Mixed Voice — Adult Choir
About the Spectrum Singers
Spectrum Singers Kelowna unites diverse voices from all ages and stages, crafting exceptional choral music through vibrant expression and rich harmonies. We weave joy and life into every note we share, inspiring and welcoming audiences into our world of music.

Our story
Singing together since 2010
The Spectrum Singers were founded in the fall of 2010 as an auditioned mixed adult choir, born from a wish to work with past students and give them another opportunity to sing challenging choral music. We rehearse in West Kelowna, BC and perform in Kelowna, BC, and our members come from every walk of life — which is exactly where the colour in our sound comes from.
The choir has grown over the years in skill and in size, and we keep setting the bar high for ourselves. We sing a spectrum of musical styles in a variety of languages, and we memorise our entire repertoire — so there is nothing between us and you but faces to watch and enjoy.
Each season we present two programmes: a festive concert in December and a spring concert in May, usually over two or three nights, and often alongside guest instrumentalists from the region. Pianist Elizabeth Wocks was our accompanist from the choir's second year.
Whether you are looking for somewhere to sing or somewhere to spend an evening, there is a seat for you.

Artistic Director
Kim Kleineberg
Kim Kleineberg founded the Spectrum Singers in the fall of 2010, out of a wish to work with past students and give them another opportunity to sing challenging choral music. Her goal was an adult group of dedicated, talented and hard-working singers of all ages, willing to explore and challenge themselves musically — and that is still the choir she leads. A graduate of Western Washington University, Kim has developed award-winning choral programmes and won the Music award at the 2017 Okanagan Arts Awards.
Kim has directed the choir through recent seasons including Syncopated Voices and Carry the Light, and leads our December 2026 programme, Love is Christmas.
